One Daily Nugget Privacy Policy

The One Daily Nugget website is owned and operated by Rivuspurus OÜ (Sepapaja 6, Tallinn 15551, Estonia; registry code 14016097). In this privacy policy, we will refer to the One Daily Nugget website and the services it provides as the “Services”. The purpose of the Services is to encourage and enable users to accelerate their personal and professional growth by consuming curated content related to self-improvement in a way that fits even into busy schedules.

As of the Effective date, One Daily Nugget is in hibernation: we’re keeping the website and public archive online, but we’ve paused creating new issues and stopped regular email sends. To minimize processing, we’ve stopped all website analytics and removed cookies. If our practices change when we relaunch, we’ll update this notice before processing resumes.

What "personal data" means

"Personal data" is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person (e.g., an email address or an IP address).

What data we collect and for what purpose

Rivuspurus OÜ is the controller of the data collected. Rivuspurus OÜ processes data with the help of third-party tools.

We no longer collect website analytics and do not use cookies during hibernation. If you see cookies, please let us know at privacy@onedailynugget.com so we can investigate and fix.

Cookies and technical storage on the One Daily Nugget website

During hibernation, we use a minimal number of "strictly necessary" cookies and local storage technologies that are essential for the operation and stability of the One Daily Nugget website. Specifically, we use Bugsnag, an error reporting tool, to help us identify, diagnose, and fix crashes or technical issues. Bugsnag uses local storage or cookies to collect technical information about your session (such as the actions taken immediately before an error occurred) to help us maintain the security and performance of the Service.

Because these technologies are strictly necessary for the technical functioning of the website, they cannot be switched off, and they do not require user consent. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral analytics.

For how long we store your data

Subscriber data: kept until you unsubscribe or until we retire the list, whichever comes first.

Server logs: typically 30 days, unless we need to retain for security/legal reasons.

Your data protection rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Estonia, that is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon). We respond to requests within 30 days.

Data transfers

We use service providers that act as our processors, including:

Hosting and email hosting: standard infrastructure providers needed to keep the site and inbox online.
